Writing an Argumentative Research Paper

Writing an Argumentative Research PaperIf you have decided to write an argumentative research paper then you will be aware that a lot of effort will need to go into it. So, what is the best way to make your research paper argueative? Here are four tips. The first step is to start with an argumentative introductory statement. Start by setting out the problem and how it affects the reader. You can then build up from there. You can then further elaborate on this with evidence and analysis. Always ensure that your research is appropriate for both the audience and the paper. You should always establish the issue at the beginning of your argumentative research paper. By establishing the central issues you will be able to build on it and build up in to the supporting data that you want to support the central idea. The next step is to set out the key idea or statement that you want to support with the supporting evidence. The supporting evidence should be relevant to your key idea. It should be related to your main evidence and, should be relevant to the reader of the paper. This is so that they are more likely to be persuaded by your evidence and argument rather than being persuaded by your evidence alone.Next, you should develop a way of debating your arguments and evidence. The debate is the way that you can strengthen the evidence and support it. You can build up into an argument and counter an argument, using questions and answers. Finally, you need to format your paper correctly. You should always use properly formatted English when writing your argumentative research paper. The points are there to build up on to the main statement. To aid in your argument, you should supply a full bibliography to back up the paper, and a table of contents as well.If you are using a case study then you should be clear about how your conclusion relates to the case study. It can be a completely different argument but should not create confusion or make the reader unclear as to where th e conclusion is coming from. Always provide proof, either with a reference or a citation.Writing an argumentative research paper can be difficult but with some practice it is certainly doable. There are many guidelines to guide you though the process. With practice, you will soon be writing more persuasive research papers.
